2016 Comprehensive plan update ~Draft supplemental environmental impact statement (DSEIS) released
A draft supplemental environmental impact statement (DSEIS) on four proposed alternatives was released on Aug. 5. The comment period on the DSEIS will end at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17. You can access the document on the "Options and Impacts" page for the 2016 Comprehensive Plan update web pages.
The public hearing previously scheduled to begin Sept. 1 will begin Sept. 3 instead and continue Sept. 10.
The Board of County Councilors and Clark County Planning Commission will hold a joint public hearing on the DSEIS at 6 p.m. both Thursday, Sept. 3, and Thursday, Sept. 10, on the sixth floor of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver.
The Planning Commission will make its recommendations on a preferred alternative at a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17. A board hearing on the preferred alternative has been tentatively scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20. After the board hearing, a final SEIS (FSEIS) will be prepared on the preferred alternative.
