Spay/Neuter Program

The Community Spay/Neuter Assistance Program provides funding for Clark County groups, programs, or projects promoting animal welfare through the spaying and neutering of domestic pets.

Clark County and the city of Vancouver have provided $15,000.00 in total funding to assist local organizations with these types of projects that benefit our community.

The Animal Protection and Control Advisory Board will review applications for program assistance (PDF - 29K), and decide how the money should be spent.

To qualify for assistance, applicants must be eligible to receive funding pursuant to one of these categories.

  • RCW 39.34.020 public agency
  • RCW 19.09.065 non-profit organizations
  • RCW 28A.150 educational institutions

Preference will be shown to applications requesting matching funds.

The advisory board committee will contact applicant representatives. If you have any questions, please contact Clark County Animal Protection and Control at (360) 397-2096.
