The last day for submitting a mail-in voter registration form or registering online for the February 14, 2012 special election is Monday, January 16, 2012. Mail-in voter registration forms must be postmarked by January 16 or before. Online registration applications must be submitted before 12:00 midnight on January 16. Visit the Elections Office website at http://clarkvotes.org and click the Online Voter Registration button to register online electronically.
All changes of address by currently registered voters must also be submitted by Monday, January 16 in order to apply to the February 14, 2012 special election, if done by mail, online or by telephone.
Citizens who are not currently registered to vote anywhere in the state of Washington have an additional time period, running through Monday, February 6, 2012 to register by appearing in person at the County Elections Department, 1408 Franklin Street, Vancouver.
A sample ballot listing all ballots measures appearing on the February 14, 2012 special election is now available on the Clark County Elections Department website at: http://clarkvotes.org. Districts which have submitted ballot measures for this election include Evergreen School District No. 114, Ridgefield School District No. 122, Hockinson School District No. 98, Woodland School District No. 404-102 and Green Mountain School District No. 103. This election will be conducted as an all mail ballot election.
