Online Document Requests
The Clark County Auditor's Office is pleased to announce that copies of documents that have been recorded since September, 1998 in the Auditor's Office can now be obtained online. This service is provided through an agreement with AuditorePass, a subsidiary of E-Filing.com Inc.
When copies of documents are purchased online there is an additional fee of $4.00 for an uncertified copy and $8.00 for a certified copy. These charges are in addition to the statutory fees for copies of uncertified documents of $1.00 per page, and for certified copies of $3.00 for the first page and $1.00 for each additional page.
Current and former members of the military are exempt from certain fees.
When copies of documents are purchased online payment may be made with a credit or debit card.
Copies of recorded documents continue to be available by coming into the Recording Department of the Auditor's Office (1300 Franklin Street, 2nd Floor, Vancouver), or mailing a request along with an enclosed self addressed stamped envelope and a check as payment. Debit/Credit cards are only accepted as payment for copies purchased online. Payment at the Recording Department must be cash or check.
In order to obtain copies you must first know the Recording Number (aka Auditor's File Number, or Document Number) of the document. For documents recorded since September, 1998 this number may be obtained online using the Auditor Document Index. Recording numbers of older documents may be obtained by coming to the Recording Department or calling us at (360) 397- 2208.
