Arts Commission calls for Living the Good Life art this month - deadline May 30
Vancouver, WA Clark County Living the Good Life is the theme of an art show scheduled to open in July in the sixth-floor gallery of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.
The Clark County Arts Commission invites artists to submit works for possible inclusion in the three-month show. The requirements are:
The artist must be a Clark County resident.
The work is framed for hanging on a cable system with a slightly slack wire.
Broad-themed interpretation of subject matter.
No nudity or political or religious content.
Sale prices must include sales tax; artist will pay local, state agencies.
Twenty-five (25) percent of selling price remits to Arts of Clark County to defray gallery expenses.
Send up to four (4) JPEG images with titles, dimensions, media and prices or insurance values.
JPEG submissions must be sent to email@example.com.
Deadline is Thursday, May 30.
Artists will be notified Friday, June 7, if their work was accepted. The show will be installed Tuesday, July 2, and an opening reception will be Friday, July 5. The exhibit will conclude Tuesday, Oct. 1.
