Freeholders to be sworn in after Auditor certifies Nov. 5 election
Vancouver, WA – The 15 county residents elected as freeholders earlier this month are scheduled to be sworn in at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, in the sixth-floor hearing room of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.
The newly constituted Board of Freeholders then is scheduled to hold its first meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the hearing room.
Ann Rivers is expected to serve as initial chair, based on the results of the Nov. 5 general election. The Auditor’s Office must certify the election results earlier Nov. 26.
All meetings of the Board of Freeholders are open to the public.
