JFC Volunteers

Who we are

We are proud to be part of a team of volunteers which commits its efforts to help provide children in Clark County who are crime victims of sexual or physical abuse to receive the quality services at the Children's Justice Center.

The Children's Justice Center is effective at holding perpetrators of crimes against children accountable, which creates safer neighborhoods for all of our kids and promotes healing and support they need while they are involved in the justice system. As the needs of the Children's Justice Center continues to grow, so does our commitment to meet those needs.

The Children's Justice Center is a child-friendly environment that eliminates the need for multiple interviews and reduces the likelihood of prolonged or secondary trauma.

Investigators are able to coordinate and begin the investigative process of child victims of physical or sexual abuse efficiently.

State-of-the-art audio and video equipment preserve the interview for evidentiary purposes and aid in the continued investigative process. The nationally accredited cent is comprise of experts from Clark County, City of Vancouver, YWCA Clark County, State Department of Children and Family Services and the Children's Center.
