Get involved early

For citizens interested in county issues, the best advice is to get involved early. You are more likely to be able to influence the outcome if you are well informed and share your perspective during the preliminary stages of the process.

It’s also important to stay involved once you get involved. There are usually opportunities for citizen involvement throughout the decision-making process and into the final public hearing stage. Each point offers the chance for your voice to be heard.
