Comprehensive Community Mental Health Services for Children and Their Families Program Child, Adolescent and Family Branch Center for Mental Health Services Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration U.S. Department of Health and Human Services |
Clark County Department of Community Services received a six year grant from the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to help improve the way youth and families receive services. The grant is targeted to children with serious emotional disturbances (SED).
The Goals of the CMHI Grant
- To consolidate funding streams
- To increase accountability
- To ensure full involvement of families at system, program & practice levels
- To sustain gains through financial reinvestment
- To assure interagency involvement
- To create state & local partnerships
