Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program

The Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-housing Program (HPRP) is a federally funded program through the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009. It is designed to help persons gain housing stability through temporary financial assistance and/or services. The program aims to serve those who are currently homeless or would be homeless but for this assistance and can remain housed after the temporary assistance ends. HPRP is not designed to make mortgage payments or serve those persons who need long-term and/or intensive case management.
