SOAR-Clark County Initiative

SOAR (SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access, and Recovery)
SOAR is a national project funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. It is designed to increase access to SSI/SSDI for eligible adults who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and have a mental illness and/or a co-occurring substance use disorder.

Looking for Social Security Disability Benefits?

If you are looking for help with a disability application and are engaged with a mental health or homeless service agency, please speak with your therapist or case manager. For those who are not currently connected with a mental health or homeless service agency, CVAB (Consumer Voices Are Born) may be able to help. Individuals may also apply online through the Social Security Administration, or receive assistance applying through DSHS, if qualified for the ABD program.
