Funding Options

Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR)

DVR can provide short-term vocational assessment, placement, and training. Vocational rehabilitation programs are custom-designed for each individual. The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation is a state and federal-sponsored program.

Developmental Disabilities (DD)

Clark County DD offers programs in individual employment, group supported employment, specialized industries and community access. Individuals are referred into these programs through the State Division of Developmental Disabilities office and are eligible to receive county funded service as funding is available.

Social Security Work Incentives

Social Security Work Incentives provide support over a period of years to allow the disability beneficiary to test the ability to work and gradually become self-supporting and independent. Individuals receiving SSDI or SSI should contact the Social Security Administration to ask about work incentives and how they can affect their benefits.

Private Pay

Most Clark County agencies negotiate and accept private pay for services they provide. This means using the individual's private funding source to pay for services.
