Spay/Neuter Assistance Program applications due by April 6

Vancouver, WA – The Clark County Animal Protection & Control Advisory Board is accepting grant applications from local organizations with programs dedicated to spaying and neutering. Clark County and the City of Vancouver have provided $15,000 for the grants.
“The Spay and Neuter Program helps all of us by reducing the number of animals that end up abandoned or at an area shelter,” said Paul Scarpelli, Animal Control manager
Groups seeking grants can find an application on the Clark County website at http://www.clark.wa.gov/development/animals/spay_neuter.html. Applications also can be obtained by contacting Adrienne Willows at (360) 397-2375 ext. 5852 or email@example.com.
Application deadline is 5 p.m. Friday, April 6. Applications can be submitted by:

Applications also can be delivered to Animal Protection & Control, third floor, Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.
The advisory board will review the applications and recommend grant recipients to the Board of County Commissioners for further consideration.
The Animal Protection & Control Advisory Board requires each spay/neuter grant recipient to be an active licensing agent for Clark County. Also, all animals must be licensed and living in Clark County to be eligible.
