Dinner to benefit Horse Councilís Adopt-A-Horse Program

Vancouver, WA Ė Clark County Animal Control and the Clark County Executive Horse Council are working together to help save horses from disease, neglect and abuse.
To support this effort, the Horse Council will host a fundraiser on Friday, Sept. 21, to benefit the councilís Adopt-A-Horse Program. The fourth annual Adopt-A-Horse Benefit Dinner, silent auction and raffle will be held at Camas Meadows Golf Course, 4105 N.W. Camas Meadows Drive, at 6 p.m.
Cost is $25 per person. Tickets can be purchased online at www.adoptahorseprogram.org or by calling (360) 798-3515. Tickets also can be purchased at Pioneer Feed Store, 21605 N.E. 10th Ave., Ridgefield, or Northwest Feed and Tack, 21919 N.E. 72nd Ave., Battle Ground.
The Adopt-A-Horse Program places horses that have been relinquished to Animal Control in volunteer foster homes while program volunteers work to place them in loving permanent homes. The program runs entirely on donations. Expenses include feed, veterinary care, vaccinations, hoof care, dental work, supplies and equipment.
