Discovery subarea plan

Project summary
With help from residents, businesses, and property owners, Clark County will develop a subarea plan for the Discovery/Fairgrounds area. The plan will include a vision for the area and targeted projects that can be built in the next six years. The plan will also include a design framework based on general principles (PDF) established by the Board of Clark County Commissioners. The public can comment on the draft subarea plan at upcoming workshops and open houses.

The Discovery/Fairgrounds subarea is the second area within the Three Creeks Special Planning Area to be studied.

What’s next
Over the next several months a sounding board will develop a vision for future development of the Discovery/Fairgrounds subarea. Sounding board members represent diverse backgrounds and interests, including neighborhood associations, property owners, city of Ridgefield, Port of Ridgefield, and Clark County Fairgrounds, amphitheater, and planning and transportation staff.
