Drainage DistrictsThe drainage districts are managed by boards of commissioners composed of three members each. The boards have exclusive charge of the construction and maintenance of all drainage systems for the district. Commissioners are elected in February in even-numbered years and serve six-year overlapping terms, commencing in February. The qualifications for voting and holding office including landownership within the district as well as being a qualified voter of the district.
