County-owned properties

Properties inventory

Clark County owns and maintains thousands of acres throughout the county to serve our residents in a variety of needs:

  • County roads
  • Stormwater facilities
  • Parks, trails and open spaces
  • Conservation lands, including mitigation and habitat areas
  • Service and operation facilities, including buildings such as the Public Service Center and Operations facilities
  • Unique facilities such as the Tri-Mountain Golf Course, Clark County Fairgrounds, Sleep Country Amphitheater, Leichner landfill, 78th Street Heritage Farm and Camp Bonneville.

The county has designated departments that maintain and operate each of these facilities. An inventory of properties has been generated, along with a Management Guidelines document that directs staff in the policies and procedures for management of county-owned lands.

Management tools

The county has developed the Clark County Property Management Guidelines (PDF) for for consistent application of property management. The guidelines review procedures for acquisitions, leases, surplus and easements.
