Clark County appreciates the roles that volunteers play in supporting the protection of our natural resources. Citizen monitoring is a great way to keep an eye on local streams and let us know of any problems. Currently the county does not have a volunteer monitoring program for waterways, but there are other ways that county residents can help monitor streams, lakes and rivers.
Clark County Environmental Services has a Volunteer Monitoring Resource Center that lends monitoring equipment for limited-duration volunteer projects. The program is open to all county residents, including teachers, students, and neighborhood and business representatives.
