Small Works Projects


As of 2013, Clark County is using the Municipal Research and Services Center of Washington (MRSC) Rosters to maintain its small works roster for public work projects under $300,000. To meet the eligibility requirements for Clark County small work projects contractors must submit their application (at no cost) to www.mrscrosters.org and select Clark County in your application.

Title: Upper Daybreak Stream Habitat Restoration

Description

The products to be furnished include all labor and materials to improve habitat conditions in a side channel of the East Fork Lewis River, at a site known as EF-20. The project involves low-impact methods of placing large wood habitat structures in the EF-20 side channel, using existing trees along the side channel. Approximately 30 trees, ranging in size from 6 inches to 24 inches in diameter at breast height (DBH), will be felled and placed in the side channel. No additional logs will be imported from off site. This is a Limited Small Works quote.

Pre-Bid Conference

In order to limit the number of vehicles traveling the private access roads the County will provide a van to transport potential bidders. This will be the only opportunity for potential bidders to view the project site. Access to the site is not allowed without the presence of County staff.

A pre-bid meeting will take place on Tuesday, July 22nd, 2014, at 10:00am. Participants will meet at the entrance of Lewisville Park. Lewisville Park is located at 26203 NE LEWISVILLE HWY (HWY 503), BATTLE GROUND, 98604. Pre-Bid Conference

There will be a pre-bid meeting at the project site for the purpose of familiarizing the plan holders with this project.  Attendance at the meeting is not mandatory; however, all plan holders are encouraged to attend.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday July 9th at 10:00 a.m. at the Landfill.  The County maintains a gated access road to the landfill site located just north of the residence at 9009 NE 94th Avenue, Vancouver, WA 98662.  The access gate will be open from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m.  Attendees will muster at access road turn out just east of the gate.  Attendees will be escorted to the project site by County Project Manager.
