Clark County continues concept development for about 80 acres located on Northeast 78th Street. An important step in that process was completed on August 7, 2008 with the first meeting of an advisory group comprised of a variety of community members and stakeholders. This meeting was focused on validating guiding principles, the group’s charter and meeting protocols. The draft concept was also reviewed as part of the meeting. A third meeting is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. October 22nd, 2008 at the Clark County Operations Center.
The county expects to offer a more refined concept plan proposal for public review either late this year or early in 2009. The Board of Clark County Commissioners must approve any final concept plan.
