The Clark County Health Department works to monitor and prevent HIV and AIDS in Clark County. These activities include both training and consultation for health care providers, and outreach, education and HIV counseling and testing for persons at risk of the disease.

HIV Testing & Counseling
- Rapid HIV Testing (results in 20 minutes)
- Oral HIV Testing (results in 2 weeks)

Positive Changes
Positive Changes is a free and confidential service that allows individuals the opportunity to explore the risks of getting HIV & STDs and/or giving it to someone else. Persons who may benefit from this program are HIV positive, a person who wants to lower their risk for HIV infection, and want to learn safer sexual and/or injection drug practices.
Sessions are one-on-one with a Prevention Specialist and during the sessions, some issues addressed are:
- Disclosing you HIV status to others
- Personal Boundaries
- Communication Skills
- Negotiating Sexual Safety
- Learn ways to stay healthy, protect yourself and your partners
- $20 gift card to spend at Fred Meyer for each of the first 3 sessions you attend!
