Project summary
Spring 2009

With help from residents, businesses, and property owners, Clark County has developed a subarea plan to revitalize Highway 99 and neighborhoods nearby. The Highway 99 Subarea Plan was adopted by the Board of Clark County Commissioners on December 16, 2008. The plan includes a vision for the area and targeted projects that can be built in the next six years. The plan also includes a design framework based on general principles (PDF) established by the Board of Clark County Commissioners.

What's next
A work program for 2009 based on the implementation strategies from the adopted plan has been developed by Team 99. Team 99 will be hosting a community workshop mid-summer 2009 to gather comments on the draft hybrid form-based design code.
