The Board of Clark County Commissioners awarded a contract to replace the Klineline Bridge over Salmon Creek. The contractor, Ostrander Rock & Construction Co., Inc. of Longview, began work the week of April 14. Demolition of the old bridge began May 16, and components of the new bridge are now under construction. Approximate cost is $9.2 million for bridge replacement and major habitat restoration of Salmon Creek. A new bridge will be in place and open this fall.
