Final environmental statement examines growth boundaries
Vancouver, WA Potential effects from increasing population and changes in urban growth boundaries are examined in a Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) now available on the Internet and from Clark County.
The FEIS was prepared as part of the ongoing effort to revise the Comprehensive Growth Management Plan, including urban areas designated to meet the projected need for new jobs and homes through 2024.
Copies may be purchased on compact disc for $5 or on paper for $32 at the Public Service Center, Permit Services, First Floor, 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver. On the county Web site, the FEIS is at www.clark.wa.gov/longrangeplan/review/eis-scoping.html.
In addition, information about the FEIS and related reports will be available at a series of public open houses, all from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., as follows:
May 16: Vancouver Clark County Elections building, 1408 Franklin St.
May 22: Dollars Corner Fire District #11, 21609 NE 72nd Ave.
May 23: Fishers Landing Transit Center, Rose F. Besserman Community Room, 3510 SE 164th Ave.
