Vancouver, WA – The Board of Clark County Commissioners will continue its hearing on the Comprehensive Growth Management Plan at 10 a.m. on June 26 and at 9 a.m. on June 27 on the sixth floor of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.

At the start of each session, the Board will hear appeals concerning the environmental analysis of proposed changes to the growth plan, in connection with the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA). As time allows, the Board may also discuss the proposed growth plan changes, which have been the subject of recent public hearings and recommendations from the Planning Commission.

The Board’s growth plan hearing will continue at 10 a.m. July 5. At that time, the Board plans to receive public input on proposed changes to written planning policies, other written elements of the growth plan, and development regulations included in Title 40 of the Clark County Code.

There also will be an opportunity on July 5 for people and organizations to comment on the proposed land use map, including urban growth boundaries and zoning, for those who did not comment during hearings on June 19 and 20.

Please watch for additional updates and announcements about further action on urban growth boundaries, zoning in newly designated urban areas, and written planning policies. For more information, please visit the county Web site at www.clark.wa.gov/longrangeplan/review/ or call (360) 397-2280 ext. 4558.
