Vancouver, WA – The Board of Clark County Commissioners will continue deliberations on issues relating to the Comprehensive Growth Management Plan at 10 a.m. August 28 on the sixth floor of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.

Proposals before the Board include changes to urban growth boundaries, zoning in newly designated urban areas, written planning policies and development regulations included in Title 40 of the Clark County Code.

The proposals are the result of extensive public meetings and hearings that began in 2005 and continued through July 5, 2007, when the Board closed public testimony.

The Board’s deliberations center on the “BOCC Tentative Land Use Map – July 5, 2007” and written policies contained in the “20-Year Comprehensive Growth Management Plan – August 2007”. The map and plan are available on the county Web site. The map is also on display in the reception area of the third floor of the Public Service Center. Please visit the county Web site at www.clark.wa.gov/longrangeplan/review/ or call (360) 397-2280 ext. 4558 for more information.
