Vancouver, WA – The Board of Clark County Commissioners is calling for applications, nominations, and recommendations for volunteers to serve on the county’s Clean Water Commission.
The Clean Water advisory group makes recommendations to the commissioners about services, policies and funding related to how the county meets federal and state requirements for water quality, including stormwater management.
Residents from throughout the unincorporated area of the county are encouraged to apply. Analytical skills are desirable, along with experience and interest in environmental issues.
Monthly meetings are held at the Clark County Public Service Center, sixth-floor hearing room, 1300 Franklin St.
Anyone interested in serving should submit a letter of interest and a resume by January 13, 2010, to Jennifer Clark in the Board of Clark County Commissioners Office, P.O.
