Vancouver, WA – Beginning Jan. 4, 2010, Clark County Public Health will change its customer hours for services such as vital records, food worker permits and permits for septic tanks, wells and food establishments.

Public Health has had to cut staffing because of low revenues for some permits and reduced state and county funding during the recession.

For food worker permits, new hours for walk-in testing will be Monday, Thursday and Friday from 8-11:45 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. For help with special needs, please make an appointment by calling (360) 397-8428.

To get copies of vital records or septic, well or restaurant permits, new customer service hours will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8-11:45 a.m. and 1-4:30 p.m. On Wednesday, hours will be 9-11:45 a.m. and 1-4:30 p.m.

For questions, call (360) 397-8000.

Clark County Public Health is located at the Center for Community Health, 1601 E. Fourth Plain Blvd., Building 17, Vancouver. The center is served by C-Tran buses Route 4 and Route 39.
