Ballots for the April 17 Special election will be available at the Clark County Elections Department, 1408 Franklin Street, Vancouver beginning on Wednesday, March 28. This special election includes a local ballot measure submitted for Woodland School District No. 404-102. Election Department office hours are from 8 AM until 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Ballots will be sent to all eligible registered voters in this jurisdiction. If a voter does not receive their mail ballot by Thursday, April 5, they should contact the Elections Office by calling (360) 397-2345 and request a replacement ballot. On Tuesday, March 27, at 10:00 AM, the Clark County Elections Department will conduct a logic and accuracy test of the programming to be used to tabulate ballots for the April 17 Special election. Members of the news media, district representatives and the public are invited to attend this test, which is a requirement of Washington State law. The test will be held at the Clark County Elections Department, 1408 Franklin Street, Vancouver.
On Tuesday, April 17, election day, at 6 PM, the process of entering the scanned ballot information into the ballot tabulation system will begin. No reports of election results will be printed until after 8 PM, election day. Election results will be released to the public and news media at the Clark County Elections Office, 1408 Franklin Street, Vancouver, at around 8:15 PM. Election results will also be available on the County Auditorís internet web site at http://clarkvotes.org. A sample ballot for this election is currently available at this web site address.
