The Youth Video Contest was designed to help raise awareness about childhood obesity. As obesity rates soar locally and nationally, children face a greater risk of developing chronic health problems such as diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and high blood pressure.
Clark County Public Health has joined the national Let's Move campaign to increase community efforts to prevent childhood obesity. For more information, see http://www.letsmove.gov/.
