Voter registration deadlines coming soon for November election, voter guides available in video, print, online
Vancouver, WA – The Nov. 6 general election is quickly approaching and so are the deadlines by which residents must register to vote or update addresses with the Clark County Elections Office. Here are the deadlines to be eligible to vote Nov. 6:
• If you mail in a registration form, it must be postmarked no later than Saturday, Oct. 6. Check with your local post office to be sure your form will be postmarked in time. Registration forms are available at the Elections Office, 1408 Franklin St. or www.sos.wa.gov/elections/register_mail.aspx.
• Online registration forms can be submitted before 11:59 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8.
At clarkvotes.org, the Elections Office website, click on “MyVote” on the right.
• If you are a registered voter and need to update your address to receive the proper ballot, you can: change it online before 11:59 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, at clarkvotes.org; mail in a form postmarked no later than Saturday, Oct. 6; call the Elections Office at (360) 397-2345 or go to the office at 1408 Franklin St. before 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8.
Citizens who are not registered to vote anywhere in the state have until 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, to sign up. However, after Oct. 8, you must register in person at the Elections Office, 1408 Franklin St.
