Volunteers needed to fill two Noxious Weed Control Board vacancies
Vancouver, WA – The Board of County Commissioners is seeking applicants to serve on the volunteer Clark County Noxious Weed Control Board. Two positions are open.
People interested in serving must reside in either District 1 or District 5. Board members from those districts will serve two-year terms initially, then four-year terms thereafter.
District 1 is bounded roughly by the East Fork Lewis River on the north, Northeast 50th Avenue on the east and the Columbia River on the south and west.
District 5 is bounded roughly by the Clark-Cowlitz county line on the north,
Clark-Skamania county line on the east, East Fork Lewis River on the south and
172nd Avenue, or Range 3E line, on the west.
Applicants must submit an Application for Appointment Nomination and a Petition for Member to the Noxious Weed Board, 11104 N.E. 149th St. C-200, Brush Prairie, WA 98606. Deadline is 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013.
