County recruits new team for regional mental health advisory board
Vancouver, WA – Seven Clark County citizens are needed to serve three years on a new mental health advisory board for a publicly funded regional support network serving Clark, Cowlitz and Skamania counties.
The advisory board will make recommendations to state and local officials on services previously managed by Clark County Community Services and now managed by Southwest Washington Behavioral Health. Clark County members will be selected and appointed by the Board of County Commissioners.
Applicants should have a working knowledge or strong interest in mental health. People with diverse backgrounds and perspectives are encouraged to apply, including those who have personal experience with services provided by the regional support network and their family members.
