County recruits volunteers for substance abuse advisory board
Vancouver, WA – Eight Clark County citizens are needed to serve three years on a local substance abuse advisory board that makes recommendations regarding drug and alcohol issues and priorities to the Board of County Commissioners and county program manager.
Responsibilities may involve advising on treatment, prevention, monitoring, needs assessments, program planning, evaluation, education and outreach and recovery.
Clark County encourages people with diverse cultures, experiences and perspectives to serve on advisory groups. Treatment providers are not eligible for these particular appointments, however.
