Vancouver, WA – The Board of County Commissioners is seeking applicants to fill four seats on the Clark County Commission on Aging. The commission provides leadership in addressing needs of the aging population while implementing strategies of county’s Aging Readiness Plan.

The plan assessed the county’s ability to serve aging residents and provides for equal access to housing, transportation, recreation, lifestyle choices, supportive services and civic/social engagement. For more on the plan, please visit www.clark.wa.gov/aging.

Those interested in serving are asked to submit a resume and letter explaining what expertise and/or experience they would bring to the Commission on Aging.

Applicants should submit a resume and letter of interest to Jennifer Clark, Board of County Commissioners, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver, WA 98666-5000. Deadline is 5 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2014.
