Applicants wanted for Animal Control Advisory Board position
Vancouver, WA – The Board of County Commissioners is seeking applicants for a position that will soon open on the Animal Protection and Control Advisory Board.
The position is for a Clark County resident who is a member, employee or officer of a Clark County animal welfare organization.
The advisory board meets quarterly at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of the month at Clark County Operations Center, 4700 N.E. 78th St.
Functions of the 10-member advisory board include:
• Reporting to the Board of County Commissioners and Vancouver City Council at least once a year on general operations of the Animal Protection and Control Program and recommended modifications to county code.
• Acting as an appeal hearing board.
