Budget
Contact: Director Jim Dickman

Do more with less—or if that's not possible, spend strategically! Because population growth and the demand for county services continue to outstrip revenue sources, Clark County has prioritized its delivery of services. The focus is on services that most directly affect citizens and the community's well-being. This is reflected in the county's budget, with the largest segments allocated to public works and public safety projects and services.
Clark County's Budget Division develops the annual budget with citizen input. The office is the organizational planning and budgeting arm of the Board of Clark County Commissioners. It is also responsible for developing long-range program planning, program operational policy, program performance measures, and revenue and expenditure forecasting. For information about the county's current budget, call (360) 397-6097 or send an e-mail to Jim.Dickman@clark.wa.gov.
