About the prosecuting attorney

Tony GOlick on front of the Clark County CourthouseTony grew up in Milwaukie Oregon. He went to Rex Putnam High School and Portland State University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Administration of Justice. Tony received his law degree from Gonzaga University in Spokane.

Tony began his legal career in the Spokane County Prosecutor’s office while still attending law school. In 1994 as an intern in the Spokane Prosecutor’s office, Tony started doing criminal trial work on Assault and DUI cases. After graduation from law school, Tony became a Deputy Prosecutor for Spokane County. In 1997, Tony became a Major Crimes Prosecutor in Spokane. At that time, Tony began handling the most serious crimes in Spokane County including Murder trials, Third Strike cases, Elder Abuse cases, Robbery and most serious assault cases.

In 2000, Tony became a Deputy Prosecutor for Clark County. Tony has prosecuted all types of criminal cases in Cark County. In 2004, Tony became a Major Crimes Prosecutor for Clark County. Since 2004, Tony has personally prosecuted many of the most serious cases in Clark County.

Photo of the Golik familyTony lives in Clark County with his wife and their two sons. Tony’s sons go to school here. Tony’s wife is a Cub Scout Den Leader. In his free time, Tony enjoys fishing with his sons, watching their basketball and football games, and hiking with his family. Tony and his family care deeply about Clark County.
