NEWS: County to reduce winter operating costs, access at major parks starting Jan. 1 (12/23/09)

Thanks to a voluntary support and funding from the Coastal Conservation Association, Clark- Skamania Flyfishers, Vancouver Wildlife League and Fish First, the Haapa Boat Launch will remain open this winter. More information.

This popular fishing and water access area is located on the North Fork Lewis River about five miles east of Woodland and nine miles downstream from the Columbia River. Due to river depth, only smaller boats (not more than 20 feet long) and flat-bottomed boats should use this boat launch. 

This site features:

  • Boat launch 
  • Picnic sites
  • Fishing 
  • Swimming (no lifeguard on duty)
  • Parking 
  • Restrooms
