This is a premier spot to enjoy some of the best wildlife viewing in Clark County, so bring your camera and binoculars! The 314-acre stewardship site consists of wetlands, floodplain, shoreline, and forested uplands. One of three state-designated "Watchable Wildlife" spots in Clark County, the site is home to coyote, otters, and migratory waterfowl.

An 8-foot-wide trail runs on the east side of the East Fork Lewis River and is dotted with interpretive signs and wildlife blinds that offer camouflaged viewing areas to watch the animals — unnoticed — in their natural habitat. The site was developed in partnership with Clark Public Utilities, the city of La Center, TDS Telecom, and private ownerships. The stewardship site is connected to the city of La Center's Sternwheeler Park to the north, which features additional park amenities.
