Whether you’re planning a family picnic, hiking with friends, or just craving some solitude in a magnificent natural setting, Vancouver-Clark Parks and Recreation greatly expands your opportunities for recreation and outdoor enjoyment. Its parks, greenways, and trail systems have something for everyone. Parks and Recreation also preserves open spaces and wildlife habitat for posterity.
In 1997, Clark County entered in a contractual agreement with the city of Vancouver to manage the parks and recreation services. This consolidation of the two parks and recreation agencies created the Vancouver - Clark Parks & Recreation Department.
