The Equestrian Advisory Committee guided development of an equestrian plan through a series of meetings focusing on the following elements:

• Equestrian trails
• Equestrian communities, development standards, overlay
• Best management practices
• Economic development, equestrian facilities, county fairgrounds

Meetings

The advisory group met 14 times and have completed their recommended plan and code language.  All meetings were open to the public and the recommendations have been forwarded to the Planning Commission for review.
