This house is on the south bank of the East Fork of the Lewis River. Originally the house was a two-story farmhouse. In 1900, the house was extensively remodeled, the most notable addition being a third-story open observatory covered by a large gabled roof.

Albert Green moved from Ontario in 1880. He traveled throughout this area on horseback, giving voice lessons from handmade charts of music. Albert Green later opened a Black Smith shop along the river.

Listed on the Clark County Heritage Register in 1984.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
