Development of a rustic soft-surface trail along the Lalonde Creek corridor (East Hazel Dell).
7.7-acre property is located on NE 99th Street just west of 50th Avenue in Northeast Hazel Dell. Park features will be determined with public input during the coming months.
This project will bring the road up to standards and improve pedestrian and bicyclist safety.
The project includes baseball fields, batting cages, restroom/concessions building, parking lot, access roads and walkways, and improvements to adjacent roads. Space for a neighborhood park will also be identified and preserved for future development.
The concept plan will outline broad uses for the site and is anticipated to be complete by the summer of 2009.
33 miles of possible rail with trail between the Burnt Bridge Creek Trail in Vancouver and the Yale Bridge in Chelatchie Prairie that would accommodate walking, biking, and horseback riding.
Safe, continuous walking trails within the urban area that incorporate the area's history.
