Applicants sought for Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee

Vancouver, WA – The Board of County Commissioners is seeking applicants for a vacant position on the Communities Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee.
The committee serves as an advisory group to the commissioners on matters relating to bicycle and pedestrian planning, financing and implementation of the county’s bicycle and pedestrian plan. The group also reviews future road construction and private development projects to ensure safety for people who travel on foot or by bicycle.
Applicants should have:
- Knowledge or interest in walking- and cycling-related issues in Clark County.
- Commitment to prepare for and attend monthly meetings.
Meetings typically are held 6-8 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of each month.
People who use public transit, are Volksmarchers, bicycle commuters, recreational cyclists, students and neighborhood group members or are involved in mobility issues for people with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
