County plans oath of office ceremony for new, returning officials
Vancouver, WA – A ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, for newly elected and re-elected county and Clark Public Utilities officials to take oaths of office and receive certificates of election.
The ceremony is open to the public.
It will be held at 8:30 a.m. in the sixth-floor hearing room of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St. Superior Court Presiding Judge Barbara Johnson will administer an oath of office for the following elected officials:
• Commissioner Tom Mielke ̶ Board of Clark County Commissioners District 1. He was re-elected to his second four-year term in November.
• Commissioner David Madore ̶ Board of Clark County Commissioners District 2. He was elected to his first four-year term, replacing Commissioner Marc Boldt, who served eight years.
• Commissioner Jim Malinowski ̶ Clark Public Utilities Board of Commissioners District 1. He begins a six-year term, replacing Carol Curtis, who is retiring after 30 years on the board.
