Artist reception highlights winter exhibition of oversized portraits

Vancouver, WA – The Clark County Arts Commission invites the public to a reception for local artist Michael Smith, whose portraits, large and small, are on display in the Sixth Floor Gallery of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.
Included in the exhibit are four colossal charcoal portraits of Vancouver residents. The works are on display through March during the Public Service Center’s regular 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. business hours.
The reception will be 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, on the sixth floor of the Public Service Center.
Light refreshments will be served, and music will be provided by the Shahala Middle School Jazz Choir.
