Vancouver, WA – The Clark County Permit Center will be closed Monday, June 16 while the staff examines options for updating a 15-year-old computer system that tracks permits for building and development.
Community Development, Public Works, Environmental Services and other county departments are working on a major project to revamp the system. The project includes web-based services for customers and mobile computing for staff.
The permit center, in the Public Service Center at 1300 Franklin St., will reopen Tuesday, June 17 at 8 a.m.
“We appreciate everyone’s patience during this brief closure,” said Community Development Director Marty Snell. “This will help us move forward with improvements for the long run.”
