Clark County operates on a two-year budget cycle. In October, Public Health, along with all other county departments, prepared its 2009-10 budget proposal. On December 4, 2008, the Board of Clark County Commissioners adopted the budget for 2009-2010. The new two-year budget goes into effect January 1, 2009.
