Washington Healthplanfinder Opens for Third Enrollment Period on November 1, 2015.

Washington Healthplanfinder, the online health insurance marketplace created under the Affordable Care Act in Washington State, is launching its third open enrollment period for Qualified Health Plans starting November 1, 2015. New and returning customers will be able to compare 90 health insurance plans from 10 different insurance companies and see if they qualify for free or low-cost health coverage through Enrollment in Apple Health is year round.

Residents must select and pay for a Qualified Health Plan by December 23, 2015 at 5 p.m. for coverage that begins on January 1, 2016. Those who do not enroll in a health insurance plan in 2015 may be subject to a fine of $325 per individual or up to 2 percent of their income, whichever is greater.

In-person assisters certified by the Washington State Health Benefit Exchange can help you compare health insurance options for you and your family. You may qualify for financial help. Assisters will be available at the following enrollment events to provide one-on-one support:

What is Washington Healthplanfinder ?
Washington Healthplanfinder lets Washington residents compare and enroll in health insurance. No one will be denied coverage because they are sick or have a pre-existing condition.

Depending on how much you earn, you may qualify for free coverage, or for tax credits or financial help to pay for copays and premiums. See estimated cost for families.

NOTE: Certified In-Person Assisters do not charge for their services. Do not accept services from people who offer to help you enroll for a fee and do not give them access to your personal information.
